The Human Resources Coordinator supports day-to-day HR operations for the Southern region, including employee lifecycle processes, payroll coordination, and HR systems administration. This role requires a proactive, detail-oriented professional who can think critically, anticipate next steps, and partner effectively with internal stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process employee personnel action forms (PAFs), including new hires, promotions, transfers, and terminations

  • Coordinate and support new hire onboarding and orientations

  • Work closely with Payroll to ensure accurate and timely employee data and compensation changes

  • Maintain and update employee records in HR systems, ensuring data accuracy and compliance

  • Support HR initiatives and employee relations matters across the Southern region (SoCal, Las Vegas, Arizona)

  • Assist with reporting, tracking, and workflow management using HR and productivity tools

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable employment laws

  • Provide general HR administrative support as needed

Qualifications

  • 2–3 years of experience in Human Resources or a related field

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred (Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline)

  • Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail

  • Proactive, critical thinker with the ability to anticipate needs and follow through

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Technical Skills

  • Experience with HCM (Human Capital Management) systems

  • Familiarity with Oracle and JDE preferred

  • Experience using Smartsheets and Rambox a plus

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

  • Accurate and timely processing of all employee lifecycle transactions

  • Strong collaboration with Payroll and regional leadership

  • Consistent compliance with HR policies and procedures

  • Anticipating HR needs and recommending next steps or improvements
