Construction Administrator

LHH Recruitment is partnering with a company near the Phoenix Airport that is in search of a construction administrator to join their team. This role is fully onsite, Monday-Friday. The pay range is between $24/hr-$28/hr.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being the backbone of project coordination and documentation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to Project Managers and field teams throughout the lifecycle of construction projects
  • Prepare, track, and maintain project documentation including contracts, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and permits
  • Coordinate communication between internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and clients
  • Assist with project scheduling, timelines, and status updates
  • Maintain accurate and organized project files (digital and physical)
  • Support billing processes, including invoice tracking and lien releases
  • Assist with project budgets, including tracking expenses, updating cost reports, and helping ensure projects stay within budget
  • Monitor job costs, flag variances, and support forecasting efforts in partnership with Project Managers
  • Monitor project compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements
  • Assist with onboarding subcontractors and ensuring proper documentation is collected

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of administrative experience, preferably in construction or a related industry
  • Strong understanding of construction documentation (RFIs, submittals, change orders, etc.)
  • Experience supporting budgets, cost tracking, or job costing preferred
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Ability to work onsite Monday through Friday in a fast-paced environment
