HR Generalist – Contract Opportunity | Phoenix, AZ
LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking experienced HR Generalists to support our clients in Phoenix during the busy open enrollment season. These are contract roles with the potential to convert to permanent based on performance and business needs.
Position Details
- Location: On-site in Phoenix, AZ
- Type: Contract (with potential for permanent placement)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard business hours
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with department managers to support performance management, coaching, and documentation
- Manage the full lifecycle of leave of absences, ensuring compliance and timely follow-up
- Provide guidance on labor laws, sick leave policies, and EEOC compliance
- Conduct investigations, performance reviews, and employee training sessions
- Support open enrollment activities including system setup, reporting, reconciliation, and employee assistance
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure HR processes align with legal and organizational standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of recent HR Generalist experience with progressive responsibilities
- Strong knowledge of state labor laws and federal employment regulations
- Proven experience in leave management and employee relations
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented HR environment
Preferred Qualifications
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification
- Experience in regulated or service-oriented industries
