Junior Project Manager

LHH Recruitment is working with a manufacturing company in North Phoenix. This organization is looking for a junior project manger to join their team. This role is fully onsite, Monday-Friday 8am-5pm. The ideal candidate will have some mechanical experience, as well as hands on experience with AutoCAD.

As a Junior Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and supporting the execution of mechanical projects from start to finish. You will work closely with senior project managers and various cross-functional teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specification. If you have a passion for manufacturing, mechanical systems, and are eager to develop your project management skills, this position is for you!


Key Responsibilities:



  • Assist with managing multiple projects from initiation through completion.


  • Coordinate with internal teams, vendors, and clients to ensure timely delivery of project milestones.


  • Maintain detailed project schedules and monitor progress against timelines.


  • Prepare and track project documentation, including project plans, reports, and meeting notes.


  • Collaborate with design and engineering teams to ensure project specifications are met.


  • Provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders on project status.


  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the course of the project.


  • Help with the development and review of project proposals and budgets.


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Project Management, or related field.


  • Mechanical experience or a background in manufacturing is highly preferred.


  • Proficiency in AutoCAD or similar design software.


  • Strong organizational and time management skills.


  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.


  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
