LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well established law firm to recruit an experienced IP docketing specialist. This full time role is ideal for someone with strong intellectual property docketing experience and a deep understanding of USPTO rules, deadlines, and filing procedures. The ideal candidate is detail oriented, organized, and able to manage a large volume of time sensitive IP matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review, enter, and maintain accurate docket entries for patents, trademarks, and other intellectual property matters
- Monitor all USPTO deadlines and ensure timely filings and responses
- Process correspondence from the USPTO, foreign associates, and internal attorneys
- Prepare docket reports and follow up on upcoming deadlines and outstanding items
- Assist attorneys and staff with questions related to docketing status and rules
- Upload, organize, and maintain documents within the firm???s IP management system
- Coordinate with outside counsel and international agents regarding filings and deadlines
- Ensure all docketing is compliant with firm procedures and client requirements
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in IP docketing in a law firm or corporate legal department is required
- Strong knowledge of USPTO rules, timelines, and filing requirements
- Experience with IP docketing software such as CPI, Foundation IP, Anaqua, or similar systems
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with attorneys and staff
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and document management systems
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritize effectively
- Strong organizational skills and commitment to maintaining accurate records

Pay Details: $60,000.00 to $80,000.00 per year
