LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a respected law firm to recruit a trusts and estates paralegal and legal assistant. This full time position is ideal for someone with strong experience supporting estate planning, trust administration, and probate matters. The role requires excellent organizational skills, professionalism, and the ability to work closely with attorneys to manage sensitive client needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist attorneys with the administration of trusts and estates
  • Prepare and organize estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and related materials
  • Coordinate asset collection and prepare inventories, accountings, and related documentation
  • Draft probate forms, client correspondence, and court filings
  • Communicate with clients, beneficiaries, financial institutions, fiduciaries, and outside advisors
  • Manage deadlines, calendars, and case progression to ensure timely completion of tasks
  • Maintain detailed client files in accordance with firm procedures
  • Support attorneys with execution of estate planning documents and follow up tasks
  • Perform research and assist with document preparation for trust funding and estate settlement

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience as a trusts and estates paralegal or legal assistant in a law firm is required
  • Strong understanding of estate planning documents, probate procedures, and trust administration
  • Ability to prepare drafts of routine probate documents and assist with fiduciary accountings
  • Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities with high attention to detail
  • Strong communication and client service skills
  • Proficiency with legal software and Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage confidential client information with discretion
  • Comfortable working both independently and collaboratively with attorneys and staff

Benefits:

Additionally, you may be eligible for paid leave including Paid Sick Leave or other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law, as well as Holiday pay where applicable. Bonus eligibility and amount are based upon company and/or individual performance.



Pay Details: $55,000.00 to $75,000.00 per year
