LHH has partnered with an amazing firm seeking a highly experienced Legal Assistant to support a dynamic litigation team in Portland, Oregon. This contract role requires a strong background in Oregon litigation procedures and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Key Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of litigation legal assistant experience

  • At least 5 years of Oregon litigation experience, including solid knowledge of the Oregon Rules of Civil Procedure (ORCP)

  • Proficient in docketing and case management

  • Experience using a document management system

  • Proven ability to support multiple attorneys simultaneously

  • Trial preparation experience preferred (e.g., assembling trial binders)

  • Demonstrates high-level support for multiple attorneys

  • Thrives in a team-oriented, fast-paced legal environment

  • Maintains strong organizational skills and attention to detail

  • Adapts quickly to new technologies and tools

  • Brings familiarity and confidence working with ORCP

Job Details:

  • Contract: 5-12 weeks

  • Mon - Fri, 8:30am - 5:00 pm

  • In - Office

  • Monthly parking pass!

  • Pay: $30 - $38 per hour

  • Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and 401K plan. Available paid leave may include Paid Sick Leave, any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law, and Holiday pay upon meeting eligibility criteria.
