LHH is assisting one of our long‑term clients in identifying their next Systems Manager to support and lead a team overseeing banking systems. This is a great opportunity for someone with hands-on core systems experience who is ready to step into (or continue growing in) a people leadership role while staying close to the technology.
This position is hybrid, with onsite collaboration three days per week (Tuesday–Thursday)
This position partners closely with senior systems leadership to ensure the stability, performance, and reliability of the core banking platform and its integrations. You’ll lead a small technical team, serve as an escalation point for system issues, and collaborate with business stakeholders across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and lead a team of Systems Technicians
Oversee daily operations of the core banking platform
Ensure reliability and stability of third-party integrations
Support batch processing, automation, and system monitoring
Act as an escalation point for operational and system issues
Communicate effectively with business stakeholders and cross-functional partners
Support broader initiatives over time, including disaster recovery and resiliency planning
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience supporting systems
Hands-on experience with Fiserv core platforms (DNA preferred; other Fiserv cores considered)
Open to comparable core systems such as Jack Henry
Banking or credit union industry experience is required
1+ year of leadership, lead, or mentorship experience (formal management experience not required)
Familiarity with automation tools and processes
