LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Transportation Contracts Attorney for a confidential client operating in the renewable energy sector. This fully remote opportunity is ideal for a legal professional with a strong background in transportation agreements and a passion for supporting sustainable energy initiatives. Experience working with wind turbine companies or within the renewable energy industry is strongly preferred.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate transportation-related contracts, including logistics, freight, shipping, and supply chain agreements
  • Advise internal stakeholders on legal risks and compliance related to transportation and logistics operations
  • Collaborate with procurement, operations, and legal teams to ensure contract terms align with business goals and regulatory requirements
  • Provide legal support for transportation issues related to renewable energy projects, particularly wind turbine logistics
  • Monitor changes in transportation law and industry standards to ensure ongoing compliance

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active bar membership in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on transportation contracts or logistics law
  • Proven experience drafting and negotiating complex transportation agreements
  • Strong understanding of commercial contract law and regulatory frameworks related to logistics and freight
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities

Preferred Experience:

  • Legal experience in the renewable energy sector, especially with wind turbine manufacturers or logistics providers
  • Familiarity with international shipping regulations and cross-border transportation issues
  • Experience supporting large-scale infrastructure or energy projects

Pay Details: $60.00 to $140.00 per hour
