LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a company in Ridgewood to fill a Full charge Bookkeeper position. This position is onsite Monday-Friday and requires experience with QuickBooks Desktop. This temp to perm opportunity can pay $30-$35 an hour to start.

Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable

• Review, enter and code all vendor invoices and expenses into internal accounting system accurately

• Prepare and process vendor payments

• Provide customer service to vendors regarding account balances; maintain vendor profiles for accuracy, completeness, and up to date documentation

• Create new vendor accounts

Accounts Receivable

• Allocate cash receipts to customer accounts and/or projects

• Proactively coordinate with other internal departments on collections process to ensure receivables are collected promptly

• Prepare and submit daily bank deposits

General Ledger

• Conduct month-end close, including bank and credit card reconciliations, balance sheet review and adjusting journal entries as required

• Prepare and file multi-jurisdiction sales tax returns

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting (preferred but not required)

• Minimum 8 years progressive experience in full-charge accounting role

• Multi-entity experience preferred

• Highly proficient in QuickBooks Desktop, Bill.com, MS Outlook, Excel and Word

• Ability to multitask in face-paced environment

• Self-motivated and detailed oriented team player with strong organizational skills

• Excellent written and oral communication skills

• Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and organizational skills

• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
