LHH has partnered with our client to find a Software Engineer to support a time-sensitive product update. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys hands-on build work, fixing broken references, and getting an installer back into shape. Experience is preferred, and strong recent graduates will be considered.

What you will do

• Update and maintain a Windows application after a major SDK change, including resolving compiler and reference errors

• Fix or rebuild the installation utility using WiX or a comparable installer tool

• Collaborate with QA, a product manager, and UI or UX partners as needed and support testing

Tech environment

• C++, C#, .NET for Windows applications

• WiX or similar installer tooling

• Visual Studio for compiling and debugging

• GitHub and GitHub Copilot

• Jira and Confluence

• SQL is nice to have, not required

What you bring

• Experience compiling and debugging in Visual Studio

• Experience creating or repairing installers with WiX or a similar tool

• Practical skills in C++, C#, and .NET

• Willingness to contribute to both development and testing tasks

• Recent graduates are welcome to apply if you can demonstrate proficiency with the above tools

Type: Contract

Schedule: Hybrid, on site Monday through Wednesday, remote Thursday and Friday

Duration: Estimated 2 to 3 months with potential to extend
