LHH has partnered with our client to find a Software Engineer to support a time-sensitive product update. This role is ideal for an engineer who enjoys hands-on build work, fixing broken references, and getting an installer back into shape. Experience is preferred, and strong recent graduates will be considered.
What you will do
Update and maintain a Windows application after a major SDK change, including resolving compiler and reference errors
Fix or rebuild the installation utility using WiX or a comparable installer tool
Collaborate with QA, a product manager, and UI or UX partners as needed and support testing
Tech environment
C++, C#, .NET for Windows applications
WiX or similar installer tooling
Visual Studio for compiling and debugging
GitHub and GitHub Copilot
Jira and Confluence
SQL is nice to have, not required
What you bring
Experience compiling and debugging in Visual Studio
Experience creating or repairing installers with WiX or a similar tool
Practical skills in C++, C#, and .NET
Willingness to contribute to both development and testing tasks
Recent graduates are welcome to apply if you can demonstrate proficiency with the above tools
