LHH has partnered with a leading digital organization to find an Information Architect to support a high-impact, mid-flight initiative within their Digital team. This role will step into established work with proven concepts and make an immediate impact.

This is a highly cross-functional position focused on product data, taxonomy, ontology, and metadata strategy in a fast-paced Agile environment.

What You’ll Do

• Design and implement information architecture strategies including data models, taxonomies, ontologies, metadata schemas, and lineage maps

• Translate user, governance, analytics, and ML requirements into scalable data architecture solutions

• Support data stewardship and governance processes across product, content, merchandising, and platform teams

• Partner closely with Product, UX, Analytics, and Information Architecture leadership

• Contribute to initiatives supporting expert content, product specifications, recommendations, and taxonomy evolution

Tools & Technologies

Experience with some of the following:

• SQL, SPARQL

• Visual Basic

• SmartLogic Semaphore

• NavCat, TaxCat

• Specs configuration tools

• Squirrel, Drools

• ContentStack

Required Qualifications

• 4+ years of experience in information architecture, product data, or digital data ecosystems

• Hands-on experience designing taxonomy, ontology, and metadata frameworks

• Strong attention to detail and documentation skills

• Experience working in Agile, cross-functional environments

• Strong communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI-enhanced content solutions such as ML classification, semantic search, or conversational AI

• Familiarity with data governance, metadata management, and data quality tools

• Bachelor’s degree in information science or related field
