Events and Marketing Administrator- Hybrid in San Diego, CA
LHH is excited to partner with a remarkable non-profit organization in search of a passionate and organized Events and Marketing Administrator to join their team! In this role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating various educational programs and events, including a large annual conference, monthly webinars, and meetings. You will work closely with association members, recruit new members, and collaborate with exhibitors and speakers to ensure successful events. Additionally, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote events and educational programs. This is an incredible opportunity to work a flexible hybrid schedule while contributing to a meaningful cause!
Key Responsibilities:Plan and execute events, including a large annual conference and monthly Zoom webinars and meetings.
Coordinate with exhibitors and speakers, review contracts, and process paperwork.
Manage event logistics, including venue, catering, and audiovisual requirements.
Promote events through various channels, including social media, email campaigns, and the organization's website.
Develop and implement marketing strategies to increase event attendance and member engagement.
Analyze market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic planning.
Collaborate with the marketing team to create promotional materials and campaigns.
Manage event communications, including sending out invitations, reminders, and follow-up messages.
Oversee the creation and distribution of promotional materials such as brochures, flyers, and online content.
Handle online registration processes, ensuring a smooth and user-friendly experience for attendees.
Evaluate event success and gather feedback to improve future events.
Recruit new association members and engage with existing members to foster a strong community.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in event planning and coordination, preferably within a non-profit or association setting.
Proven experience working with association members and member recruitment.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Experience reviewing contracts and coordinating with speakers and exhibitors.
Knowledge of marketing principles and strategies.

Location: Flexible Hybrid schedule in central San Diego- 92122
Duration: Contract-To-Hire, looking for someone long term!
Pay: $28.00-$34.00/hour
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm
