Overview
We are seeking an experienced Workday Financials Business Analyst to support Workday ERP elevations, integrations, and implementations within a finance-focused environment. This role is responsible for functional configuration, business process support, and ongoing administration of Workday Financials modules, working closely with finance stakeholders and business process owners.
The ideal candidate brings a strong accounting foundation, hands-on Workday Financials experience, and demonstrated tenure supporting enterprise ERP environments.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a functional Business Analyst supporting Workday ERP elevations, integrations, and implementations.
Perform Workday administrative functions, including tenant configuration and business process (BP) configuration supporting finance operations.
Monitor, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to integrations and business processes, determining root cause and implementing solutions.
Partner with finance stakeholders and business process owners to ensure Workday configurations align with operational and reporting requirements.
Support testing efforts, validation, and ongoing system enhancements.
Maintain stability, accuracy, and compliance across Workday Financials processes and workflows.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience as a Business Analyst working on Workday ERP elevations, integrations, or implementations.
Functional experience supporting Workday modules including:
Financial Accounting, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Banking, Procurement, and Projects.2+ years of experience as an accountant or financial professional prior to specializing in Workday ERP as a functional (non-technical) professional.
An Accounting degree may substitute for prior accounting experience.
Experience performing Workday administrative functions, including tenant and business process configuration.
Proven ability to monitor and troubleshoot Workday integrations and business processes supporting finance operations.
Demonstrated strong tenure, with approximately 3+ years at each employer reflected on the resume.
Very Nice To Have Qualifications
Experience with Workday security and leveraging Workday to automate processes.
Experience building regression and user acceptance test scenarios, working closely with business process owners.
Experience evaluating, communicating, and coordinating the technical impacts of Workday configuration decisions.
Experience designing, configuring, and testing simple integrations between Workday and external systems using Enterprise Integration Builder (EIB) and other Workday tools.
Experience supporting data conversion efforts, including acquisitions.
