L&E Litigation Secretary
Location: San Francisco, CA Compensation: Up to $110,000 per year, along with Paid Time Off, Paid Sick Time and Holidays, Healthcare, Dental and Vision Coverage, 401k Job Type: Direct Hire, Full-Time, Hybrid – 4 days onsite
LHH is working with a prestigious AM Law 100 firm in seeking a Litigation Secretary to join their Employment & Labor Practice Group in San Francisco, CA. This is a hybrid role (4 days onsite, 1 day remote), offering the opportunity to support a high-performing team of attorneys in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Prepare, revise, and finalize legal documents, including correspondence, pleadings, discovery submissions, arbitration/mediation documents, and administrative filings.
Assist with state and federal court filings, ensuring compliance with all deadlines and procedural rules.
Support attorneys with monthly client invoices, working closely with the billing department.
Coordinate and assist with preparing exhibits for various matters, including litigation and administrative agency filings.
Manage case files, maintain electronic and physical records, and ensure proper document organization.
Communicate effectively with courts, agencies, opposing counsel, and clients.
Handle attorney scheduling, calendar management, and travel arrangements as needed.
Qualifications:
4+ years of litigation secretary experience in a law firm setting.
Experience in Labor & Employment litigation is preferred but not required candidates with backgrounds in Commercial Litigation, Products Litigation, or Complex Litigation are encouraged to apply.
Strong knowledge of state and federal court filing procedures (electronic and manual).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint) and legal document management systems.
Familiarity with billing and time entry software is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
