As part of our dedicated Housing team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being and safety of interim housing guests, helping them achieve their goals and navigate their journey toward stability.
What You'll Do:
You'll be the go-to person for ensuring guests' basic needs are met, offering support to both the guests and case managers, and helping individuals achieve their personal goals.
Create an inclusive, hospitable environment by monitoring living areas, keeping them clean and organized, and making sure guests feel at home during their stay.
Collaborate with case managers and the operations team to keep our facility running smoothly and ensure the safety and comfort of all residents.
Provide compassionate crisis intervention, helping guests navigate challenges and develop skills to manage their care independently.
Complete progress notes after every guest interaction and provide facility tours for new arrivals, ensuring they're comfortable and informed.
1 year of experience working in a homeless shelter or similar. Volunteer experience is welcomed!
Must be able to work one day of the weekend (Saturday or Sunday)
Multiple Shifts Available: Swing (2pm-1030pm), overnight (10pm-630am)
