A company in the financial services industry is partnering with LHH to search for a temporary Accounting Manager for their team. You will mostly be handling transactional accounting work such as financial statement preparation, month end, and reconciliations. You will be reviewing the accounting work of the other contributors but won’t have direct oversight of them. The ideal candidate will have at least eight years of progressive experience and be comfortable meeting deadlines. This position is fully remote after training in the Seattle, WA office so the manager is looking for someone who has successfully worked in a remote setting previously.
Responsibilities:

Financial statement preparation and variance analysis to minimum errors
Preparing documentation for external auditors and assisting with financial audits to ensure compliance and accuracy
Reviewing accounts receivable and accounts payable records for accuracy
Reconciling accounts monthly to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance
Additional tasks as needed

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
Eight or more years of accounting experience
Experience with ERP systems, such as NetSuite, is preferred
Professional communication skills
Ability to meet strict deadlines in a remote setting

Employment Details:

Temporary for at least six months
Remote after training
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
