Job Title: Contract Paralegal – Insurance Defense

Location: Downtown Seattle (In-Person)
Job Type: Full-Time Contract (Through March 2026)
Pay: $45/hr.

A LHH is working with a mid-sized litigation team and is seeking an experienced Insurance Coverage Paralegal to support trial preparation and case management. This role requires a highly organized self-starter with strong multitasking skills and familiarity with insurance defense and coverage matters.

Responsibilities

• Manage cases from inception through trial

• Draft pleadings and discovery documents

• Conduct investigations and interview witnesses/experts

• Perform document review and legal research

• Collect and analyze records

• Assist with trial preparation

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of litigation experience

• Paralegal degree or certificate required

• Strong knowledge of state and federal civil rules

• Familiarity with billable timekeeping systems

Schedule & Duration

• Monday to Friday

• 7.5-hour shifts

• Contract through at least March, likely longer depending on trial

Billable Requirement

• 125 hours per month

Additional Details

• Work is primarily on-site due to trial preparation requirements

• Remote flexibility is limited

• Urgent project with immediate start
