LHH is working on a fully remote Payroll Specialist position with a company who has multiple locations on the west coast. This is a temporary opportunity for someone who has at least three years of payroll experience. You will be processing payroll for multiple clients and will be assisting with reconciliations and benefit administration as well. The team is looking for someone with high attention to detail and professional customer service skills since you will be reaching out to resolve employee inquiries. The manager is comfortable with someone working remote as long as they are located on the west coast or it will be hybrid if you are close to the Seattle, WA office.
Responsibilities:
  • Processing multi-state payroll for over 500 employees
  • Auditing and entering timecards when needed
  • Resolving employee inquiries
  • Manage employee timecards through different tools
  • Assisting with payroll-related journal entries and account reconciliations
  • Coordinating employee benefits and updating HR records
  • Managing employee records and tracking time off, sick time, and garnishments
Qualifications:
  • At least three years of payroll and/or HR experience
  • High attention to detail
  • Previous experience with ADP Workforce Now is required
  • Preferably someone with exposure to Microsoft Dynamics or various accounting ERP systems
  • Ability to stay organized when managing data from different sources
  • Professional customer service skills
  • Previous success working in a remote setting is preferred
Employment Details:
  • Temporary for five months
  • Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM PT
  • Hybrid or remote


Pay Details: $28.00 to $30.00 per hour
