Accounts Payable Specialist – Contract-to-Hire | Southfield, MI
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a client in Southfield, MI, to find a skilled Accounts Payable Specialist for a contract-to-hire opportunity. This fully on-site position offers a supportive environment and the potential to convert to a permanent role in approximately three months.
Position Details:
Job Title: Accounts Payable Specialist
Location: Southfield, MI (Fully On-Site)
Type: Contract-to-Hire (Conversion in ~3 months)
Compensation: $23–$26.50 per hour (dependent on experience)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, flexible morning start times
Key Responsibilities:
Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and payment requests
Ensure timely and accurate payments to vendors
Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies
Maintain organized records and documentation
Collaborate with internal teams to support accounting operations
Qualifications:
Previous experience in accounts payable or related accounting roles
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
