Commercial Real Estate Lending Paralegal
LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a dynamic, highly collaborative law practice that’s looking for a skilled Commercial Real Estate Lending Paralegal to take the lead on a steady flow of sophisticated lending and transactional work. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced environment, is confident managing deals from start to finish, and enjoys working collaboratively with multiple parties throughout the transaction lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full workflow of commercial lending transactions, from initial engagement through post‑closing.
Draft and prepare a wide range of loan‑related documents, including those connected to construction, refinance, asset‑based, and acquisition transactions, as well as sales and lease matters.
Conduct and coordinate due diligence, including entity review, title and survey analysis, and related documentation.
Maintain and monitor checklists, track document deliveries, and identify and resolve issues that arise during the transaction process.
Summarize complex contracts and leases and ensure accuracy and completeness of all transaction materials.
Communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, lenders, title companies, and other stakeholders to keep all parties aligned and deals moving forward.
Qualifications
3–5 years of experience in a sophisticated commercial real estate or lending practice, with recent experience supporting lender‑side work strongly preferred.
Strong drafting, document review, and due diligence capabilities across commercial loan and transactional documents.
Ability to take ownership of assigned matters with minimal oversight and manage multiple deals simultaneously.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and comfort learning new technology platforms.
FRP certification or eligibility preferred; professional communication, organization, and attention to detail required.
