LHH is partnering with a corporate services company in Houston, TX to find an efficient Accounts Payable Specialist with above-par accuracy. Applicants should have two or more years in a recent Accounts Payable function.
This company offers schedule flexibility and work from home Fridays!
Pay for the Accounts Payable Specialist will range from $25 to $28 per hour depending on experience.
Job Responsibilities:
Recording/reconciling information relating to AP financials
Working with contract managers to ensure AP batch accuracy, approving for payment
Setting up new vendors, gathering tax compliance and other required documentation
Research and respond to questions/inquiries from external vendors
Maintain AP aging report and other accounting ledgers
Acquire approvals from department heads
Coding non-PO invoices
Process expense reports, reconcile company credit cards
Job Qualifications:
Two or more years in a recent Accounts Payable function with limited recent job hopping
Ability to process a high volume of invoices with accuracy
Excellent organization and time management
Basic Excel knowledge required
Pay Details: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour
