Dispatcher

LHH Recruitment is working with an aviation/aerospace company near Tempe that is looking for a dispatcher to join their team. This is a 24/7 operations, so you must be flexible. Shifts will likely be 12 hour shifts. Some OT will be available.

This role plays a critical part in coordinating emergency and medical transportation dispatch operations across multiple states, ensuring rapid and accurate communication under pressure. The hourly rate is between 45k-60k DOE.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and dispatch emergency response and medical transport services across multiple states
  • Prioritize and manage high volumes of incoming requests and calls
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with field teams, medical personnel, and support staff
  • Monitor response times and ensure compliance with all protocols and safety standards
  • Document all dispatch activities accurately in internal systems
  • Remain calm, professional, and focused during high-stress or emergency situations

Required Qualifications:

  • Associates Degree or Bachelor Degree is preferred
  • Previous experience in 911 dispatching or medical transportation dispatching (required)
  • Strong multi-tasking skills and the ability to remain composed under pressure
  • Excellent verbal communication and active listening skills
  • Knowledge of emergency codes, response protocols, and dispatch best practices
  • Proficiency with dispatching software and communication tools
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a coordinated team
